Delivery and returns
UK delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 48 is included in the price. We aim to print and post your book within 3 working days of your order, then delivery usually takes 2–3 working days.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. We print and pack every book ourselves in the UK. We can send the book straight to the person it’s for: just enter their address at checkout. There is no price inside the parcel.
Christmas
The last order date for Christmas delivery is Saturday 12 December 2026. If you choose both express printing and Royal Mail Tracked 24 at checkout, the last order date is Monday 21 December 2026.
Your order is placed when you approve your preview and pay, so please leave time before then to choose your photos and check your pages.
Late or lost parcels
If tracking hasn’t updated for a few days, or your book hasn’t arrived within a week of dispatch, email us at help@colouryourfamily.com with your order code. We will chase it with Royal Mail and, if it has been lost, reprint and resend your book free of charge (or refund you, if you’d rather). If we no longer have your print files, we refund you instead.
Our guarantee
Right book, right family, or we reprint it free.
If your book arrives with the wrong book, a printing fault or damage in the post, we reprint and resend it free of charge. We check every book against its order before the envelope is sealed, so the right book goes to the right family.
Returns
Every book is made to order from your own photos, so we can’t accept returns for a change of mind, and the usual 14-day cancellation right does not apply to personalised goods. This doesn’t affect your legal rights: if your book arrives faulty, wrong or damaged in the post, we will reprint it free or refund you.
To report a problem, email help@colouryourfamily.com as soon as you can after delivery with your order code and a photo of the problem. You won’t usually need to send anything back. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and we email you when we send one. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled a problem, see how to complain.
Cancelling an order
Once you’ve paid, your order can’t be cancelled, because every book is made just for you.
Before you pay there is nothing to cancel: you can change any photo, your title and your dedication in your free preview, and unpaid drafts are deleted automatically after 30 days without activity. Please check your preview carefully before you pay. If anything goes wrong with your book itself, our guarantee and your legal rights above still apply.
